Austin Dean Sterling. New Rochelle, NY - May 2012 This August, I’ll be an uncle for the 4th time! I have 6 sisters and we our ages span from 2 years younger than me, to 15 years older than me. 2 of my sisters already have kids. When my first nephew was born, I was 10 years old, with my niece 12. We kind of grew up together because we were all kids. When my 2nd nephew was born I was a bit older. I was 18 and away at college. All of my Nephews and my niece live out of state. My sister who’s directly older than me (by 7 years) is having her first child. She lives in NY too. This is the first time I’m going to be able to experience “uncle’hood” as an adult and I can’t tell you how excited I am!

Charlie Rose ‘Blue Valentine’ interview - A look at the film ‘Blue Valentine’ with director Derek Cianfrance and actors Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams

This is one of the most powerful films I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s even more impactful to me now, after seeing this interview. Now I know why it was so real. I really admire Derek Cianfrance’s film making technique.
